SCALA Staircase

✦ The most compact footprint in its class

The SCALA Staircase achieves something remarkable: a full 12-tread staircase within a footprint of just 1,425 × 635 mm. This is made possible by the alternating-tread design — each tread is offset left and right, allowing a steeper pitch without sacrificing the depth your foot needs to land securely.

The result is a staircase that occupies the absolute minimum floor area whilst remaining perfectly safe and comfortable to use daily. If you have been told your space is too small for a staircase, the SCALA proves otherwise.

✦ What you actually get

Maximum space efficiency: At just 1,425 × 635 mm, the SCALA fits into spaces that would rule out any other staircase. Ideal for loft conversions, duplex apartments, and tight floor openings.

Solid construction: The 35 mm solid beech treads provide firm, stable footing. Combined with the steel structure and 900 mm PVC balustrade, every step is confident and secure.

Personalisation options: Choose your structure colour — black, grey, or white. Treads available in lacquered natural finish or walnut stain to match your interior.

Extensible height range: Covers floor heights from 172 mm riser increments up to a maximum of 3,164 mm with an additional tread.

✦ Who this staircase is for

For the loft conversion with a tight ceiling opening. For the duplex apartment where every square metre is at a premium. For anyone who needs a safe, daily-use staircase in the smallest possible footprint.

Integrates naturally into: modern, minimalist, industrial, Scandinavian, and contemporary urban interiors.
