Oak is darker, harder (greater wear resistance), with more visible grain and a rustic-premium look. Oak staircase prices are higher than beech. Both are 100% solid wood — not veneer or chipboard.

Beech is the standard material — durable, dimensionally stable, and warm in appearance. Metal structures are available in matt black or other finishes on request. We do not use chipboard, MDF, or engineered wood for structural elements.
